Blue House is a historical landmark in Wanchai. It was built in 1922 and currently a grade one historical building in Hong Kong.
Before Aug 2009, ownership of the Blue House was shared by the HK government and private owners. In the last renovation, the government-owned portion was painted in blue on the exterior while the rest of the building remained grey. The name “Blue House” stuck ever since.
A few years back, I took some photos of the Blue House. Last Saturday, I went there again and run into a tour organized by Hong Kong House of Stories which is located at 74 Stone Nullah Lane in Wanchai.

Guided tour lady is telling the stories of the Blue House. It’s currently under conservation renovation. So it will be shown to the public.
